After a draft deliverable has been created by desktop publishing in PDF format, our proofreaders perform the proofreading step to make sure that the final product stands on its own without reference to the original source content. The proofreader also looks for proper punctuation and flow of the language.

In other words, our proofreaders simulate the experience of the end user by proofreading the text without referring to the source documents, identifying and correcting errors which have been introduced in the process of reformatting.
